Extreme Pedagogy Makeover Using Mutimedia Text Sets

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Multimedia text sets are collections of content that you can curate, package, and efficiently push out to students using Google Docs, Forms, and Spreadsheets. This session will take a look at how using Google apps for packaging and workflow can greatly enhance your reading and writing instruction by maximizing the time you have in the classroom. Multimedia text sets can be powerful inquiry based learning tools that allow students to explore your Common Core curriculum. We will also explore innovative ways that all students’ voices can be heard through the use of free web tools such as Edmodo, Padlet, and Today’s Meet. Each participant will leave the session with new thinking about how to effectively integrate digital instruction, along with multiple lessons and ideas for use in any classroom.
